Hi, I’m Sasha.
I’m a freelance photographer, photography instructor, and a passionate advocate for arts accessibility.
I use the pronouns she/her/they/them.
I spend a lot of time hiking outside, often alone. My work often reflects this habit, frequently exploring themes of society vs. nature and nature vs. artificial. I often experiment with blending elements of nature with artificial elements, such as colored gel lighting and projected imagery.
In my spare time, I play guitar in Charmed & Strange.
As a musician myself, I love photography collaborations with other musicians, especially those who identify as female and/or non-binary, as I relate to the struggles for visibility and recognition in the music scene.
Some places my photos have appeared include Rolling Stone, Forbes, Billboard, the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, Boston Magazine, She Shreds magazine, WGBH (Front Row Boston), Scout Magazine, Ain't Bad magazine...
